This information direct from ShoreDog:
If you’d like to get a little practice in before our Celebrate Shoreline Parade, please consider joining Off Leash Area Edmonds (OLAE) in the Edmonds 4th of July parade (“Patriotic Pooches on Parade”). We are joining forces with both Edmonds and Mountlake Terrace in upcoming events to raise awareness about responsible animal care, display our local community support, and demonstrate the value that our off-leash areas provide to the community and commerce. If you and your dogs would like to participate, please email volunteerdogs(at)gmail.com.

Painting by Anne Martin McCool
Hello everybody! Guess where I’ll be this Saturday? I’ll be signing books at the 5th Annual Bark in the Park festival at Storvik Park in Anacortes. Come join us and many dogs and folks.
Silly contests! Raffles to win stuff! Goodie bags to the early arrivals! Games and more!
Last year, more than 300 dogs and 600 people came out for silly contests, booths, food, sun and fun. This year, The Dog Lover’s Companion to the Pacific Northwest will be there. All proceeds benefit the new dog park in Anacortes, scheduled for it’s grand opening in July.
See http://bit.ly/barkinpark for a complete Schedule of Events.
