What is a “NAKED DOG”? If you LOVE your dog, READ THIS!
A “NAKED DOG” is a dog that is brought to the Dog Park improperly accessorized: NO collar, NO name tag with proper ID, NO current dog license, NO current rabies tag, and/ or NO micro-chip. A “NAKED DOG” is a dog that can not find its way home if it gets lost or runs off……Is YOUR dog a “NAKED DOG” when you bring him/her to the Dog Park? Please, NO “NAKED DOGS”!
OVER-DRESSED is ALWAYS Best! Check your dogs ID today – is it legible & current?
An off-leash dog can never be over-accessorized at the Dog Park – No such thing as too much “BLING”! I’m talking about a collar, a name tag that is legible and has current ID information, a current pet license, a current rabies tag and/or a micro-chip. The more “BLING” that your dog is wearing at the Dog Park, the better the chances are that he/she will be returned to you in the event that your dog becomes lost or runs off.
It CAN happen to YOU! People tell me all the time, “My dog will never run off”…until he does!
There is no worse feeling than to loose your dog. The fear for his/her well being can bring you to tears. A dog that has proper identification (the more the better!) will most often be returned to you within 24 hours. What more can I say?
